刘恭平,男,教授,博士生导师。华中科技大学学术新人奖,教育部“新世纪优秀人才”计划获得者。教育部及湖北省重大神经系统疾病重点实验室、教育部创新团队学术骨干。主要从事脑老化与老年性痴呆的病理生理机制、早期识别和保护策略研究,研究结果(第一作者或通讯作者)发表文章20多篇,其中包括Chem Sci, Mol Ther, Neurobiol Aging等国际较高影响力杂志。科研成果获湖北省自然科学奖一等奖、中华医学自然科学奖二等奖等(参与人员)。主持国家自然科学基金青年、面上项目、国际老年痴呆协会青年研究者资助项目。担任国际杂志JAD编委,应邀为多家SCI杂志审稿。
